Former Sydney United striker and Young Socceroo Franco Parisi has been touted as one of the most promising signings by Newcastle United Jets.<\/P>

Parisi, who played 58 National Soccer League (NSL) games and scored 14 goals - agreed a one-year contract after knocking back an offer from Swiss club FC Baden.<\/P>

He is already showing his talents, so far already scoring in almost every trial match, including a goal against Adelaide United in Coffs Harbour and a great performance against the Central Coast Mariners at the Club World Championships in Gosford earlier in 2005.<\/P>
